VACON® Fieldbus options

VACON® Fieldbus options are plug-in communication boards that let VACON® NX, VACON® 100 and VACON® 20 series drives integrate seamlessly into plant automation networks. The range covers AS-i, RS485-based Modbus RTU/Metasys N2, PROFIBUS DP, LonWorks, CANopen, DeviceNet, BACnet MS/TP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and EtherCAT, plus dual-port Ethernet variants with switch and redundancy support. Each option board is matched to specific drive slots and ordering codes, giving engineers a flexible way to standardize fieldbus communication across mixed installations. Key protocol boards carry PI and ODVA certification for guaranteed interoperability.
