VACON® Functional extensions
A range of plug-in I/O and feedback option boards that extend VACON® AC drives with additional safety, control and encoder interfaces.
VACON® Functional Extension option boards add flexibility to VACON® AC drives by expanding digital and analog I/O, enabling Safe Torque Off safety functions, and providing dedicated interfaces for a wide range of encoder and resolver feedback devices. Each board slots directly into the drive to match application-specific requirements, from simple relay and thermistor inputs to advanced closed-loop motor control with EnDat, SSI, BiSS C or Sin/Cos encoders. This modular approach lets engineers tailor a VACON® drive precisely to their process without redesigning the base unit.
