Thermowells
Stainless steel thermowells that protect temperature sensors from process pressure, corrosion and abrasion.
Delta Mobrey Thermowells safeguard temperature sensing elements against corrosive, abrasive and high-pressure process conditions while allowing instruments to be removed for calibration or replacement without interrupting the process. Manufactured from solid bar stock or machined pipe in parallel, tapered or stepped profiles, they are available in stainless steel, exotic alloys or with a PTFE cover, and with flanged, threaded or welded process connections. Custom designs, materials and stress calculations to ASME PTC 19.3 are available to match demanding oil & gas, power generation and water treatment applications.
